TORRE PALI is a small tourist resort located about a kilometer from the Pescoluse. Beyond the marina, less than 60 meters from the shore, there is the small Island of the Maiden. According to a legend, in 1753, the Turks landed at Torre Pali, raiding everything, and taking with them a young girl from the place who opposed with body and soul to his captors and, for this, was killed on that strip of land emerging from the sea.
